Our coffee beans are so freshly roasted that you should leave our coffee to rest for 4-6 days from the roasting date so that the full flavor can develop. Taste experience can unfold. The traditional craft
Roasting coffee is a traditional craft and is decisive for the taste of the coffee. Our master roaster Manfred creates a unique roasting profile for each coffee, which emphasizes the individual character of the coffee. Very complex chemical reaction processes take place during roasting when heat is applied. During this process, sugars and amino acids are recombined so that around 1,000 new aromas and chemical compounds are formed in each individual cell. This makes coffee one of the most aromatic foods of all and has significantly more aromatic substances than wine.

The special maturing process
Lowest acid coffee?
The designation Monsooned Malabar refers to the special maturing process of this coffee. The harvested beans are sun-dried and stored in India until the start of the monsoon. From June to September, the raw beans are added to the Monsoon wind which makes their lose natural acidity and take on a lighter, slightly yellowish color. Through a Gentle and slow roasting this results in a particularly Mild espresso. Our master roaster has worked with this special Malabar Arabica 2023 the "Gold" award from of the German Roasters Guild in the category "Espresso" receive. Just recently, our supplier Aspinwall from India paid us a visit.
