A for storing coffee
Tips on how best to store your coffee
Storing your fresh coffee properly is the key to enjoying the best coffee. When storing coffee at home, you can do a lot to ensure that it tastes good for as long as possible. A big mistake that many people make is transferring the coffee into a tin. This exposes the beans to large amounts of oxygen. It is therefore better to simply leave them in their original packaging. If the packaging cannot be resealed, it is best to use an airtight clip to seal it. The pack should be sealed as tightly as possible to the beans so that oxygen does not stand a chance
Keep coffee in the fridge?
We have already mentioned the large coffee tin in which the coffee, possibly already ground, is stored loosely. The next question is: should I store my coffee in the fridge rather than on the kitchen shelf? If you assume that the packaging is tightly sealed, you could think about it. However, it is definitely not necessary. The nature of the packaging is much more important. The coffee should be protected from external influences as much as possible. Oxygen, sunlight and excessive heat should be avoided.
Store coffee as beans and grind fresh
The key to fresh coffee is to grind it immediately before use. This is the best way to preserve the aromas and taste. For this reason, we offer you almost exclusively whole coffee beans in our range.
